Conference fees

Flat-rate fee: EUR 180.-
Day pass: EUR 90.-

Concessions for members of the organising institutions, speakers and students

Flat-rate fee: EUR 120.-
Day pass: 60.-

The fees include simultaneous interpreting, documentation, lunches and refreshments during breaks (12-14.10.), evening events (11-13.10.), field trips (13-14.10.), and free local public transport and special shuttle service in the mornings and evenings.
An additional fee of EUR 10.- will be charged for participation in one of the field trips on October 15.

Once you have registered, the conference fee can be paid by bank transfer, SOFORT transfer or Paypal.

Accommodation, hotel reservation

Please book your accommodation through the AlpWeek booking portal.

The hotels are located throughout the Achental. Free travel by public transport (ÖPNV) and a shuttle service are on offer.

Each individual accommodation provider applies their own cancellation fees so these may vary.

Please make your hotel reservation as soon as possible!


Simultaneous interpreting into German, French, Italian, Slovenian and English will be available during plenary events (12.+14.10.) and selected sessions. The main language(s) at the sessions and excursions are indicated in the programme.

Number of participants

The number of participants is limited. If selection is necessary, the date of registration and the duration of participation will be taken into account.

Field trips and excursions: Discover the Achental

Field trips will be on offer on Thursday and Friday (16:00 – 18:00).
Field Trips – Overview

Five excursions are on offer on Saturday:
A half-day boat trip to the river delta of the Tiroler Ache; a half-day hike with foresters of the Bavarian State Forestry; a half-day trip to the summit of the Hochfelln; a full-day tour on the Achental cycle route; and a full-day round-trip to the Fraueninsel and Herreninsel islands on the Chiemsee.

All registrations for excursions are to be made online along with the registration for the AlpWeek event. Registrations for the guided tours are to be made on site at the AlpWeekINFO Info Desk, where you will also receive information about the meeting point and time of the guided tours and excursions.

The AlpWeek 2016 organisers are actively working on minimising the negative environmental impact of this event.
We would ask you to contribute to this effort by:

On the move in the Achental
Alongside the ÖPNV public transport offers, a shuttle service will operate mornings and evenings, linking Grassau with the region.
